Use HiveIQ free for the 2027 beekeeping season.
Help us build a better way to manage colonies by using HiveIQ in real apiaries and giving us short, regular feedback.
What is the 2027 programme?
We're inviting UK beekeepers to use HiveIQ at no cost throughout the 2027 beekeeping season. The programme is designed to put HiveIQ into real apiaries so we can learn what works, what gets in the way and what beekeepers want us to improve.
What do we ask in return?
Participants will be asked to complete a short monthly feedback survey. Completing the monthly surveys is required to maintain free access for the remainder of the 2027 programme. We want useful feedback while you are actively using HiveIQ, rather than asking you to remember an entire season at the end.
What do you get?
- Free HiveIQ access during the 2027 programme.
- Access to features released to programme participants during the season.
- The opportunity to influence what HiveIQ improves and builds next.
- No subscription charge during the programme.
When will I get my login?
Register by 31 December 2026. Your details are stored securely on HiveIQ's servers and we will contact participants at the beginning of the 2027 season with login details and information about getting started.
Privacy and beekeeper control
Your data. Your colonies. Your decisions. HiveIQ is designed to keep colony records private by default. Public information is shared only when the beekeeper chooses to share it, and AI suggestions require beekeeper confirmation before becoming part of the trusted colony record.
Is the 2027 season really free?
Yes. There is no subscription charge during the 2027 programme. Completing the short monthly feedback surveys is required to maintain free programme access.
When does registration close?
Registration for the 2027 founding programme closes on 31 December 2026.
Do I need to use every HiveIQ feature?
No. We want to understand how different beekeepers naturally use HiveIQ.
What happens after 2027?
Any arrangements after the founding season will be communicated before any paid continuation. Registering for the 2027 programme does not create a paid subscription.
